Connect Hero Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of personal information of users in relation to the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”).

Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information, only if the new purpose is reasonably related to the original purpose.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases or when otherwise permitted by law:

  • When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
  • When especially necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

Upon receiving a request from a user for the disclosure of their personal information, the Company will promptly disclose such information to the user.

However, the Company may withhold disclosure in whole or in part if any of the following apply, and in such cases, will promptly notify the user:

  • If disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party
  • If disclosure may significantly hinder the proper conduct of the Company’s business
  • If disclosure violates any laws or regulations

A fee of 1,000 yen will be charged per request for disclosure.
In principle, the Company will not disclose information such as access logs or characteristic information that does not constitute personal information.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

If a user finds that their personal information held by the Company is incorrect, they may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “Correction”) of their personal information by following the procedures specified by the Company.

Upon receiving such a request and determining that it is necessary to comply, the Company will promptly make the Correction.If a Correction is made or not made, the Company will promptly notify the user of the decision.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information)

If a user requests suspension or deletion of the use of their personal information (hereinafter “Usage Suspension”) on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of its intended purpose or was obtained unlawfully, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.

Based on the investigation, if it is determined that the request is valid, the Company will promptly execute the Usage Suspension and notify the user.

However, if the Usage Suspension requires a large expense or is otherwise difficult to implement, and an alternative measure can be taken to protect the user’s rights and interests, such an alternative will be taken.

Article 9 (Changes to this Privacy Policy)

Except as otherwise provided in applicable laws or this Policy, the Company may change this Policy without notifying the user.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy will take effect when it is posted on this website.
